Ever wished there was a tinder for friends? Feeling a bit lonely in the big city? Not anymore you’re not!
Starting in Manchester we are rolling it out across all Girl Gangs. Rebelling against the pressures of career based scenarios in which we are told to push through situations that make us feel uncomfortable in order to achieve, we invite you to a speed session so silly and inclusive that you’ll step outside of usual comfort zone without even realising.
Taking inspiration from dating shows, bad business meetings, teenage sleepovers, art attack and agony aunts, Girl Gang Sheffield invites you to undertake creative challenges and respond to conversational topics, creating authentic connections between new friends, quickly and fear free!
Girl Talk is a free, monthly, informal meet up for creative women and non-binary people developed by Girl Gang Leeds.
As well as a space to make new friends, we also see it as a time to chat about future Girl Gang events, whether you want to get involved, have a project you’d like help with or have an event idea you’d like to see us make a reality.
Five strangers, one hour and a lot to talk about!
Moderated by a Girl Ganger at all times to ensure a safe, respectful environment, Girl Gang Manchester presented it’s new, calmer solution to the loneliness epidemic: Coffee Philosophy.
Built on the same values as our sell out Speed Mate-ing nights, Coffee Philosophy offes the people of Greater Manchester a chance to broaden their social circles and their minds.
To aid your creative journey, we’ll be bringing you DRAFT, our new regular event with the aim to promote a positive creative environment, and to encourage new artists to showcase their work to a supportive community.
We want DRAFT to be a place you feel safe showcasing your work, explore art, and share experiences! Works of any kind are welcome, so come join us – we can’t wait to meet you!
Immersive club nights are one of our favourite endeavours especially for one of our favourite holidays… Halloween.
#sheffieldgirl was born in October 2015 but Sheffield girls have been around for years, making music, taking care of business and always bringing the party. Auriel Majumdar is the founder of #sheffieldgirl, she started the hashtag in 2015 as a response to women’s voices being left out of the music scene narrative.
We love bands and we love to fill line-ups with more diverse and interesting bands! A few bands we’ve put on in the past include; Dream Nails, Breakfast Muff, Kermes, Babe Punch, PINS, Cowtown, Esper Scout and loads more. Want a gig? Get in touch with Girl Gang Leeds.
We’ve put on a whole range of different exhibitions, from the #seemyselfie exhibition to ‘reclaiming pink’. If you’re an artist interested in exhibiting your work at one of our events, please get in touch.
